Contributions are encouraged on all aspects of mountain weather and changing climate, from fundamental research to operational challenges in mountainous regions, including but not limited to:
- Surface processes in mountain environments including the cryosphere
- Boundary layer processes over complex terrain
- Orographic clouds and precipitation, including extreme events
- Mountain climate: variability and changes
- Meteorological applications: renewable energy, air quality, water resources, risks, ecosystems, urban environment, infrastructures and society
- Numerical weather prediction over complex terrain (incl. model developments, data assimilation, predictability studies and verification)
- TEAMx - Multi-scale transport and exchange processes in the atmosphere over mountains - programme and experiment, including both observations and modelling
We also welcome submissions that extend beyond these areas, with particular emphasis on research exploring AI as a cross-cutting theme, as well as interdisciplinary approaches to mountain meteorology and climate.
